Meet Samantha (the owner)

Greetings, my name is Samantha and I am so pleased to meet you!

I first established Deluxe back in September of 2015. Deluxe is a small business out of Perth, Western Australia.

I remember purchasing some repro resin earrings from a popular creator at the time out of America. It was a lash out purchase for myself & they were rather costly but i thought why not, treat yourself!

When they arrived, I was shattered. You know that soul crushing moment when you purchase something & have been eagerly awaiting it's arrival but when it finally comes it's not at all what you expected? Let's just say, they were never worn, from that very moment, I started researching how to make them myself.

I spent just over a year, researching, trialing, & fine tuning my craft before i decided to sell my first pairs. I wanted to create the best vintage inspired / statement earrings at a very affordable price & maintain a high quality at all times, so that no one ever had to feel how i did when they received their order.

It wasn't long into the second year of Deluxe that my husband Luke came to me with an idea. As a fellow creative, he wanted to create something awesome too, we put our creative brains together, and this is where our handmade acrylic shift knobs were born. Luke spent many months fine tuning his craft before we opened up for orders. We have since expanded into other accessories for your ride such as door locks, valve caps, window winders, wiper deletes and more. You can see some of our rad customer rides with our work in our gallery section.

I then decided creating jewellery wasn't enough, & wanted to introduce some alternative / spooky homewares. Deluxe now offers a range of unique, one of a kind handmade decor, my creations are constantly being updated, so be sure to check back frequently.

I also upcycle items that I source personally from secondhand stores, usually objects that are damaged, broken or worse for wear, offering new life to the piece in a unique & quirky way.

Along with all the handmade uniqueness, you will also find a large range of alternative homewares, accessories and so much more, proudly sourced from local & international Alternative, Pinup / kustom kulture brands & artists.

A little about me personally, well, I am not all that interesting to be honest!  I am a metal head, but my music range does vary, but my preference is metal.  I grew up around cars, in particular, hot rods.  I now assist (volunteer) with running the WA Hotrod and Street Machine Spectacular.  I own a 57 Buick that I love to cruise the coast in, sadly don't get to drive it that often as I have been battling a chronic pain injury for years which limits my abilities at times.
