Paul Hughes is a Melbourne based Australian artist.
His work is heavily influenced by 50’s, 60’s and 70’s pop culture i.e. TV, comics, movies, music and the various fads and fashions.
He has been involved in countless group shows and a couple of solo shows both at home and overseas including the U.S and Japan.
He has also been featured in several local and international publications and has made the odd TV appearance.
Paul works in several different mediums creating his own style of low brow cartoony art.
His illustration style in acrylic paint has seen him invited to contribute to the Barris car show, art shows in California and Japan and has secured him many design jobs over the years.
Many people will know him for his work with One Shot enamel paints, he can usually be found travelling locally and internationally trading at festivals and events and sometimes even painting live.
